Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico
Santa Fe, a small town of approximately 70,000 people, is one of the most cultural cities in the world. Whether for a week-end Incentive program, a week-long business meeting or some other event, Santa Fe provides an exciting and quaint alternative to larger, bigger destinations.
A world-renowned travel destination unparalleled in richness of history, heritage, arts and culture, Santa Fe is nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, in the foothills of the Rockies. Immersed in natural beauty, with an average of 300 days of sunshine and blue sky, Santa Fe pretty much guarantees your group a perfect experience.
The landscape conspires to take your breath away. The narrow, winding streets invite you to walk closer together. The 400 year old adobe buildings say, "Hey, what's the hurry? Linger a little".
There's plenty to explore, from the spectacular Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside of town to the world-renowned galleries, boutiques and restaurants just outside your door. The list is almost endless and your attendees will thank you for selecting our beautiful city.
Things to Know About Santa Fe
Santa Fe is located in the foothills at the southern tip of the Rocky Mountains, at an altitude of 7,000 feet. The city occupies a valley above the Rio Grande at the foot of mountains that peak at over 12,000 feet. Thousands of acres of National Forest, wilderness, and private ranches surround the city, still only an hour's drive from the Albuquerque International Airport. We suggest giving your participants a bit of time to adjust to the altitude and dryness. Drinking lots of water is a plus as we are in a high desert environment which makes the weather very enjoyable but also gets you dehydrated faster. Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balms are a nice gift for attendees as they are needed year-round.
Native Destinations is a professional destination management company with extensive knowledge and expertise in meeting planning, sightseeing, and special events. We are dedicated to help you design and implement your program to make your Santa Fe experience a resounding success.
